Hoopmaster products are one of my favorite products to use when embroidering. I have been doing embroidery most of my life and I have done high production embroidery for over 11 years. I used standard tubular hoops like your typical 12cm or 15cm hoops that come with your machine and I hooped them freestyle most of the time. I had done this for so long that I developed Carpel Tunnel in my wrists and suffered from pain in my hands and arms. There came a point where I could no longer do the job that I loved so much, and embroidery was my passion and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else. Then I was introduced to the Hoopmaster Mighty Hoop 5.5 Kit.
Typically when doing right or left chest embroidery the logos, speed and consistency are some of the biggest challenges. This product is designed to save you a significant amount of time and give you that consistency with every garment. This is by far, one of the best products I have ever used. The magnetic hoop does the work for you, so it saves you from the pain of pushing on regular tubular hoops and you can literally hoop a shirt with 1 finger. No longer will you see hoop burns or scarring of the material. Also while the machine is embroidering, the garment will not fall out of the hoop. These are very, strong magnets and you will have a secure hold, even on very heavy-duty material.
As your demand grows, there are many other magnetic hoop sizes and Hoopmaster products that work together with this kit. Additional hoop sizes range anywhere from 4.25 inch to 12.5 x 15.75 inch for full sized jacket backs and fronts. A 4.25 x 13 inch works great for sleeves and pant legs, and if your machine is limited to a smaller sewing field. You may choose from a 10 x 10 inch or an 8 x 13. If you are just starting out with Magnetic Hoops, I would suggest you begin with the Hoopmaster Kit 5.5. It comes with everything you need. It includes an adult station, a 5.5 sized fixture with a freestyle arm, one 5.5 Magnetic Hoop, a T-square to help with measurements and consistency, and a portable base for the fixture to switch to for bags, blankets, or towels. I can’t stress enough how wonderful these products are. These items will pay for itself due to speeding up your production and the constant perfect placement. No more measuring every garment, dealing with pain in your hands or wrists, or wandering if your garment is hooped tight enough once it’s on the machine. These products are affordable and well worth the cost. When ordering these items, please make sure you are ordering the correct sized brackets because each machine and model will be different.
